Over the combined 60 years that we have been providing our life coaching, many clients have told us that they do not disclose everything to their partner, there is always a backup plan in case things go wrong. Many people say they cannot bring themselves to trust again in a relationship, it is less painful, having put so much trust in their partner of years, opening up their deepest feelings expecting them to be respected and looked after had ultimately set them up for disappointment and relationship failure in the first instance.

#4:  Planting The Seed For An Affair

Feelings are out of the bag and now is the turn for the 3rd person to talk about their own relationship breakdown. The 2 have found a common connection for justifying an affair. Their partners do not understand them nor communicate in a loving manner. The more these 2 talk the more they are drawn to one another not for sex in the first instance but for a feeling of empathy.

#5: Emotional Distance

Emotional needs not met, lack of talking between a couple, finding a shoulder to lean on outside of the relationship the seed to the affair is planted. Many couples in fact will not cheat and will just amicably end the relationship however for many there is always a plan B and C around the corner.

 The sudden "we need space" from our experience as life coaches has almost always meant "I love you but I am not in love with you anymore" The relationship has completely broken down 

 #6: Sudden Incompatibilities

"Why" "WHY" the most common question. "It didn't just happen this was long coming" the reply.

Hormones are playing a such a huge role in the lust phase of an affair the cheating partner will not give a damn for the pain they are inflicting on others. 

 #7: Dishonesty

The biggest reason for relationship failure along with a lack of communication is dishonesty. 

 Is relationship breakdown some kind of mousetrap that people get caught in? Once upon a time a couple would have talked and enjoyed being together, somewhere along the line things changed.

 #8: Assuming The Next Relationship Will Be Better!

Affairs are almost always with friends and work colleagues and with the advent of the internet these strangers you may meet online can meet your emotional needs because they will communicate with you very well managing to talk themselves into your heart.  

 #9: Trapped In The Rabbit Hole

You were back in the couples society about time too. It never crossed your mind to question the things too good to be true, the things beyond imagination, the strange things. Why would you? After all, they weren’t strange on that side of the looking glass they were just part of the wonder of it all. You didn’t ask questions  you just gave thanks for being in the happy couples society.

Then, it was too late. You had been hooked, duped, and made to believe it was the best thing that ever happened to you.

 You did whatever you could to get back to the world you once knew.
How did it happen?

 Manipulation.  They don’t share our emotions, our thoughts, our motives, our goals, our hopes or our desires. The best thing they can do is to pretend, and count on us to fill in the blanks.

It takes three things to fill a manipulators bag of tricks: Observation, practice, and our inherently vulnerable brains.

We can learn to see the ‘big picture’ if we become aware of our strengths both inner and outer given that there are so many people out there who have made it their life to know how vulnerable minds work and us not knowing, it’s in our best interest to step back and take a look at ourselves.

How many women and men are duped by people they chat with online who will suddenly need cash to save them for some disaster! 

 What causes people to lose common sense to the point they risk their all.

 LOVE 

And every person on Earth will do almost anything to find Love and keep Love whatever the cost.
